Sara Vu, earned her Diploma from the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene, and is a licensed dental hygienist with certification in local anesthesia from the University of Alberta.
With 16 years of clinical experience, she is dedicated to providing quality dental care through advanced dental technologies. She has collaborated with dentists to develop systematic periodontal protocols to set high quality standards of practice and leads a Dental Hygiene department of a dental corporation consisting of over 70+ hygienists.
Beyond the clinic, Sara is involved in community outreach and oral health education. She has volunteered at local schools, community events and international dental missions. She has donated her time and experience to those with little to no access to dental hygiene care while promoting dental hygiene awareness. She is committed to helping people in impoverished regions of the world maintain a better quality of life through better dental health.
Guided Biofilm Therapy has empowered her to explore a systematic and patient friendly approach to dental cleanings that goes way beyond traditional practices. She wishes to inspire the next generation of dental hygienists to grow to be more impactful leaders. Today, she is a Swiss Dental Academy Educator and truly believes in lifelong learning through innovative technological solutions.
