    working with gbt delivers you a big advantage. it has warm water patient is very comfortable. It is a lot better than the ems handy!. I am a fan

    Thats what I do basic Gbt upto 30 mins
    Gbt for perio/staining/implants up to 45 mins and an hour for the ones that need extra 6ppc/la etc

    We have the EMS handy but i really don’t feel it removes any stain and certainly not calculus. I can do a much better job with the USS, hand instruments and polish. is this really any better?

    I am interested in the benefits of the newest units. Is it true that it reduces patient discomfort and results in a less traumatic experience? Using GBT in itself causes some people anxiety and others have heightened toot surface discomfort with any stimulation. I have used GBT, trying to justify $

Laura Bailey

Laura Bailey graduated with a first class BSc (hons) degree as a Dental Therapist from Manchester University in 2013. At her graduation she won two awards for best clinical skills and patient communication. She has also been shortlisted for ‘Most invaluable team member’ at the private dentistry awards.

Laura is a progressive therapist keen to develop her full scope of practice and is undertaking a PG Dip in restorative and aesthetic dentistry this year.
